Colors in Kylix [5]

Hi

I'm planning to use Xmanager to work on my Linux system. I'm mainly working with Borland Kylix. The problem is that Xmanager is totally screwing up the colors, both on the startup splash screen (it should be blue but it is yellow) and inside the program. The icons on the toolbar buttons are also yellow but should be kind of grey. The updating of the screen in Kylix also appears to be sluggish with left over shadows and "window-pieces".

I know Kylix uses WINE for its interface - maybe that is what's causing the troubles.

I've tried all the possible color settings in the configuration tool and have also tried to change my color depth to 8, 16, 24 and 32 bpp.

I hope you can fix the problem.

Has a fix been found yet? I have the identical problem. Kylix was the only reason I installed a Linux server and hence the only reason I am using Xmanager. Please notify me when the problem is solved.

We just got a copy of Kylix and our engineers are working on it. The test result will be available in the next week.

We tested kylix and found the same problem.
In the next version, this problem will be fixed.

A patial solution to the problem is:

1. Open Xconfig utility.
2. Set "Color->Default Visual" to "Auto Detect".
3. Disable "Option->Backing Store" option by unchecking check box.

I had 2 problems:

1.- Color was not displaying ok.
2.- Repainting of behind-windows.

I set the options like you said.

Now problem 2 was solved but problem 1 still remains. i.e.: splash windows diplay yellow instead of green and some icons have yellow background.
