Germany keyboard and slickedit [3]

Hello,

i have problems with the keyboard (German Charset) to put in the chars @[]{}\| in the the editor (Visual Slickedit) other programms run well
if i press the ALT GR key + 7 for {
if get the errormessage "key not defined"

Please try to load the German keyboard map as following:

1. Run Xconfig in the Xmanager folder.
2. Click Input tab.
3. In the Keyboard File list, select the german.xkb.
4. Save the change and restart Xmanager.

Hope to solve the problem.

sorry to say it, but it doesn't help,
i have normaly the german keyboard selected, but slickedit is at the moment only application where i have this problem to get chars where selected over ALT-GR + char key-combination. With XEmacs or only in the terminal-window i have no problems with it.

We have tried SlickEdit and it showed the same problem in our systems. It seems that SlickEdit processes the Alt_Gr key in an unusual way and it can't produce the characters defined with the Mode_switch key.

We think SlickEdit doesn't consider the role of the European Alt_Gr key. So, you should load the us101 or other keymap file that doesn't define characters working with the Mode_switch key.
