Exporting applications to Windows [1]
Exporting applications to Windows

We're trying to export user configuration tools like Sun's Admintool and Redhat-config-users to our Service Desk's WinNT/2000 PCs.
This works fine manually when exporting the app from the server to a running Xmanager on the PC.
Is there a way to simplify exportation of these tools, and only these tools, from the PCs using Xmanager via, say an icon? I just need the app exported, not a whole desktop session....
Thanks

Try to use Xstart program instead of Xmanager as following:
1. Run Xstart program.
2. Enter connection information.
3. In the Execution Command box, enter as following:
/usr/bin/admintool -display $DISPLAY
4. Click Save.
5. Click Shortcut.
Once a shortcut is created, you can run the admintool with just a click of the icon.
