multiline shell prompt confuses Xmanagers regexp trigger mechanism

Friday, April 11, 2003 10:21 AM - phillias

when trying to launch an application the prompt (PS1 variable) for the user that I'm logging in with has a multi line prompt that does not trigger Xmanager to perform the command. I change the shell but the users are making this hard. In short: how can I change the regular expression that Xmanager uses to determine if it has hit a command shell? Specifically: how can I configure it to handle multi line prompts?

Please download the attached file and copy it into the C:Program FilesXmanager1.3.9 folder.

The program will send the command immediately when a prompt is found. If a prompt is not found after 3 tries to enter a newline, it will force to send the command.

We would appreciate your feedback.
