Mozilla/Netscape on FreeBSD/Linux is very slow

When I use mozilla/netscape running on FreeBSD/Linux, my Xmanager process on Windows 2000 is very slow due to excessive CPU load.
For example, when mozilla repaints a window, Xmanager uses 100% of CPU for about 5 to 6 seconds if not more.
My Windows 2000 machine is a 1GHz AMD Duron. This is not a powerhouse but it has decent performance.
You can observe the behavior by bringing up "Windows Task Manager"'s performance tab.
Run mozilla on a linux and use it on Windows machine.
When mozilla window appears, just resize the window. The resizing is quite slow. While it is resizing the window, observe the task manager's performance pain. CPU usage jumps up to 100% for a few seconds and comes back to low CPU usage.
I do not see this kind of behavior other than Mozilla.

The slow resizing problem occurs also in our test environment. We'll figure out the reason and let you know the result soon.
