No execution command sent to VMS

I am trying to connect to a VMS computer. When I look at the execution results, I am logged in, but I cannot execute the command in Xstart
@newxterm.com
whare newxterm.com is a macro to open a terminal on my computer. It just waits at the prompt. If I log in by telnet (in windows go to start->run->telnet servername)and run the macro with Xmanager started, everything is fine.
Here is the execution result:
Welcome to OpenVMS VAX V6.2
Username: ANDREI
Password:
Welcome to OpenVMS VAX version V6.2 on node KIRBY
Last interactive login on Friday, 8-AUG-2003 11:43
Last non-interactive login on Friday, 8-AUG-2003 11:32
You have 2 new Mail messages.
[c\Z[0c
%SET-W-NOTSET, error modifying TNA70:
-SET-I-UNKTERM, unknown terminal type
CERN TeX environment version 0.992 ( for more information type "newtexdefs ?")
%DCL-I-SUPERSEDE, previous value of TRIUMF_TERMINAL_TYPE has been superseded>
$
And it hangs here
Any comment would be apreciated

Please try the following command at the Xstart:
<%WAIT="$"%>@newxterm.com
The WAIT macro doesn't send the command until a "$" character is received. Once the "$" character is received, Xstart sends the command, "@newxterm.com".
If the problem persists, please upload the messages once again.

Still not working. But it must be some setting wrong. I have another computer from which I tried to log in, and there everithing is OK, unless I use the macro that you gave me. The answer in that case is:
$<%WAIT="$"%>@newxterm.com
%DCL-W-NOCOMD, no command on line - reenter with alphabetic first character
$<%WAIT="$"%>@newxterm.com
%DCL-W-NOCOMD, no command on line - reenter with alphabetic first character

It seems that the Xmanager you are using is not the latest version. Please try the newest verstion at:
