Some question about CHINESE.

Hi, I could not display chinese fonts in Xmanager. I had writed a vtcl shell in SCO OpenServer. When I run it in xterm, it will create a windows with chinese menu in my screen, but it's mess.

I don't sure that question from Xmanager or SCO's locale. Because I found my SCO OS could not have zh_CN.GBK, zh_CN.GB2312 or zh_CN.BIG5 locale. But I can see chinese font by using "xfd -fn "gbksong-medium12".

Another, I don't understand connection between locale and CHINESE FONTS, could you explain this?

I had used Xwin32 PC X server, it could not display correct CHINESE in my screen, but when I select "using windows fonts" in Xwin32's fonts set menu, I can see correct CHINESE in my screen. I don't known why?

Does anybody tell me why? thanks very much!

But some question still leave here.

I had used some software to chanage Microsoft's .TTF fonts to .BDF fonts, then used bdftopcf.exe to chanage .BDF fonts to .pcf fonts.
But when I use this .pcf fonts, the screen can show CHINESE fonts correctly, but it show ENGLISH fonts incorrectly.

What's problem?

Please try to install the Chinese font pack at:

http://download.xmanager.com/files/fonts/chinese.exe

If it also fails, please upload the screenshot of the problem window.
