System Response using Korean Fonts [1]

When i try to connect to a AIX server from a windows 2000 machine using x-manager the response i get is very slow and it appears to hang from some machines. I have installed the korean font pack in my desktop but i see no change in the response times. Please help.

Most Koreans are using ko_KR (KSC5601.1987) instead of the UTF8 locale. As far as I know, no one is considering to develop applications that run only for UTF8 locale. In addtion to the custom, the fonts for UTF8 in AIX are too large and ugly.
