Xmanager not connecting to new Fedora install

Lost the hard drive in my RedHat 8 web server. Rebuilt using Fedora Core 1. I'm able to ssh to the server using Putty, but when I run Xmanager and login as root I get "/usr/bin/X11/xterm Xt error: Can't open display: %s" in the execution log. I'm also getting "remote command has been requested. _X11Trans Socket|NETConnect: Can't get address for localhost"
Under RH8, I didn't have to configure anything to get ssh working.

The error might happen when a "localhost" is not defined in /etc/hosts file of the Linux. Please check if there is the following line in /etc/hosts:
127.0.0.1 localhost.localdomain localhost
Hope this helps you.
