Xmanager 1.3.9e Disconnecting/Crashing/Burning

I've been a happy Xmanager user for years. Right now I'm running it on XP Home, usually 24/7. Frequently, sometimes several times a day, one or more X windows are closed. Sometimes with a message "Connection reset by peer". Sometimes with no message at all. Sometimes I have to reboot to get ssh working right again -- I can connect and get an X window open, but something about X forwarding won't work, so I can't start new X applications from the X term.
This looks like a problem with Xssh.exe. The sshd on the other end is sshd2:
sshd2 -v prints
sshd2: SSH Secure Shell 3.0.1 (non-commercial version) on sparc-sun-solaris2.8
Any clues?
Thanks

Your problem might be caused with following reasons:
Bad network card installed on your PC - You have mentioned that Xmanager works fine after rebooting the system. There might be some collisions during heavy network traffics generated and cause the problem.
Internal firewall software installed on your PC - There might be software working as a firewall on your PC and affecting the problem.
Please check the above issues to solve your problem. We also suggest you to try Xmanager 2.0 Beta to see if the same problem happens.
