keyboards layout... [3]

Well, another question.

I have compiled my keyboard layout using xkbcomp.
Because I have a very special layout ;-)
I have .xkb and .xkm file.

Xmanager uses *.xkb files.
These are known as "data" by my linux box, using file command.
Under X11, .xkb files are ascii files and .xkm,
compiled files.

The problem is my .xkm file seems to be not known by Xmanager :-(

What is the format of the Xmanager's *.xkb files ?
How can I produce it ?

".xkb" is a private format for Xmanager 2.0, so it cannot be used on Linux. You can edit it by clicking "Edit" in the "Xconfig Profile->Device tab->Keyboard Settings".

Hmm, I only have 1.3.9.

I want to map Ctrl+BackSpace, Ctrl+Delete,
Alt+Left, Alt+Right and so on.

It seems to be not possible to do that whith version
1.3.9, because the only modifiers are Shift et ModeSwitch.

Is it possible with 2.0 ?

Xmanager 2.0 offers a compose sequence feature, but it is not a good idea to change Ctrl and Alt keys to compose keys. If you do that, Ctrl will not work as Ctrl any more.

Instead, try to change the resource file of your X application, if possible.
