setup initialization error [2]

Hello,

I have a user I'm trying to help out with his xmgr application. Problem is, when I download the eval copy, (and he tried to give me an eval copy too, but same thing), double-clicking the exe gives "Error reading setup initialization file". The window shows up with a blank button at the bottom. I've tried on Win98 and NT 4.0. What to do?

Please try the newest version of Xmanager from:

/download/download.html

If the problem persists, let us know the detailed version information of your Windows.

I get the same error when installing on Windows XP sp 2.

I am a registered user of 1.3.9, the version 2.0 download installs, but my key won't work.

Now what?
