Super_R and Super_L keys
Friday, August 27, 2004 11:11 PM - fred
Hi,
How can I set Xmanager/WinXP in order to my Super_R and Super_L keys are known on my linux box ?
For instance, Super_R and Super_L are intercepted by Windows, but I want to use these under X.
These keys are not present in french.xkb.
Thanks in advance.
Cheers.

Unfortunately the two keys are intercepted by Windows and there is no way to use it with Xmanager.
A workaround to the problem is that you assign the Super_L and Super_R keysyms to F9 and F10 keys on your keyboard. For more help, please read Keyboard Editor section in Xmanager Help.

Hi,
Is it not possible to disable these keys under Win XP ? These keys, Super_L, between Ctrl and Alt, are very useful. Not as F? keys.
Thanks.

Unfortunately, there is no way to intercept the Super_L key at this time.
We will consider to support it in our future version.
