How to load XManager as windows start?
Sunday, October 10, 2004 10:13 PM - Cad
... without i have to push the "run" button ?
I've add xmanager in regedit HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/Microsoft/.../run. When i lauch windows, xmanager load itself -ok-, but i have to press "run" to really load the program. Is there a way that i have not to press "run", when windows start and that the programm load itself ? I have to add a command to my shorcut ?
thanks!

To load an Xstart session at Windows startup:
1. Select a session in Xstart.
2. Click Shortcut.
3. Select an appropriate folder to create a shortcut.
4. Move the shortcut to the Windows startup folder.
Hope this helps you.

Hello,
thanks for the answer. I'me agree with you and i did that, but the shorcuts load the window of X manager, not the program. My question was : can i add a command to the shorcut that will load the program (because, with the shorcut i have to press run when the xmanager window opens)
Thanks

An Xstart shortcut doesn't open the Xstart window. It launches a remote command directly after running Xmanager.
Open Xstart and then click the "Shortcut" button on the dialog box.
If it doesn't solve your problem, let us know the Xmanager version.
