xterm window

Hi I am using xmanager 1.3.9 and I am attempting to connect to a server within the school. I get logged in, but an xterm window doesn't pop up. Instead it waits for a prompt in the "Messages from Remote Execution" window right below where it says i logged in. I am trying to connect to xterm@solaris and my execution command is set to /usr/bin/X11/xterm -ls -display $DISPLAY. Can u help me?

In Solaris, the command should be:
/usr/openwin/bin/xterm -ls -display $DISPLAY
If it also fails, please post the entire messages displayed on the Remote Execution Result window.
