Windows XP Tablet crashes with VMNETSRV.SYS error

Thursday, February 5, 2004 2:04 AM - TAY

When I try to start kde (startdke) from a shell, it almost finishes loading, then I get the blue screen of death, with the following error:

Driver_IRQL_Not_less_or_equal

vmnetsrv.sys address F6B8C9A5 at F6B8B000

Help!

The problem might be caused by:

1. A damaged Virtual Memory Manager Page file.
2. A faulty RAM (memory) module.
3. A RAM module that is NOT compatible with the computer's chip set.
