Disconnect and reconnect X session [2]
Disconnect and reconnect X session

Hi,
I'm wondering whether it is possible to stop/suspend an X session,
logout from windows, shutdown the computer and reconnect to the same
X session the next morning.
The (KDE-)session would be running on a Linux Server.
It would be even greater if the session could be opened from another PC, but I assume that would give problems with resolution and color-depth.
Thanks in advance for any hints!

Unfortunately, X server software can't keep the established connections for a later session. For this kind of purpose, another software, VNC is available at free. You can find it from any Internet search engine.
