My changing IP address [1]

My IP address is 204.177.209.x where x is different depending on the site I use to check it. The numbers range from 5.....70. I have tried them all. I have also tried leaving them off. The error is the same "can't open display". I am using AOL to connect to Solaris at my school any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

The changing IP address is not the reason of the problem. The "can't open display" message might be displayed when:

- A firewall exists inside AOL subscribers.
- You PC has multiple IP addresses.

First of all, please do the ping test from Solaris to your PC at the Solaris terminal. For more assistance, plesae provide us with a detailed connection steps you followed.
