Reading(even writing) Japanese in Xterm [1]

Hello,I am using Xmanager 1.3.8 and have some trouble displaying Japanese when using Xterm.I have downloaded the japanese char set ja_75dpi and install it.But still can not see japanese when using xterm. Please help me.
and if there is a way to input japanese in xterm,please tell me,too.Thanks.

For Japanese, you need to run a kterm or dtterm instead of xterm. The xterm doesn't support Asian characters.

For further support, let us know the vendor and version of Unix server.
