CDE Apps and Xstart [1]

CDE application are displayed differently when running from XBrowse/Xmanager as opposed to Xstart. In XBrowse/Xmanager the screen is dispalyed using the standard CDE colorset but Xstart does not use the CDE colors. Is there any way to configure/pass parameters to applications such as DTterm that will allow them to use the CDE Colorset?

CDE color scheme is very complex and it's difficult to emulate it with Xstart connection. You can try to run "/usr/dt/bin/Xsession" command at the dtterm prompt to allocate all CDE resources but it might fail depending on the configuration of Solaris.
