Terminal windows shift to left [1]

i have xshell 6 free version . I face a frequent issue with xshell. The terminal window slides to left a bit converting 2-3 characters. i have to close the terminal, that is only solution i have found.

i have attached screen shot . you can see how characters are hidden on left side.

Instead of closing the terminal, what happens if you run the "reset" command in the terminal when this happens?
