Feature REQ: Touch Screen Support [3]
Feature REQ: Touch Screen Support

I installed XShell 5 on a Win 8.1 tablet.
The best feature I like in Xshell are the Quick Command button sets. This has saved me countless hours of looking up frequently used commands.
However on this tablet, I'm now unintentionally executing commands, where what I'm trying to do is Edit a Quick command button. So when using a touch screen, the expected behavior is that when pressing and holding on an area, you would see the usual RIGHT Mouse Click Menu items appear. However, that is not the case with the Xshell Quick Command buttons. I'm so used to editing Quick Command buttons, by using a right mouse click, and since I'm also so used to using Press+HOLD for mouse right click on a touch screen, this is really needed in Xshell.

I agree that touch screen support is something we definitely work on. We see more and more devices come with touch screen capability lately.
We are going to come up with more collaborative plans for touch screen / multitouch support in the future. So, within the process, we will improve Quick button's behavior on touch screens.

Sorry for resurrecting the old post. Is it possible for Xshell to move the screen content by simply sliding it, as most programs do? I know I can do it by sliding the slide bar. But it is slightly different.
