All terminals act like SecureCRT when selecting multiple lines. However, when the mouse selection occurs, even though Xshell displays the ends of lines, Xshell selects the real area of characters.
This kind of selection is adapted by many terminals such as xterm, gnome-terminal, putty, etc.
Anyways, I'll have this reported to our dev team.
