Xshell for OS X [260]

First and foremost, I've been a happily licensed user of Xshell (and Xftp) for the last three years, and the new betas of v4 are, for lack of a better word, awesome.

Recently I've acquired a MacBook and have fallen in love with OS X.
I can never completely remove myself from Windows because of the industry I work in, but I would love to lessen my dependency, and with that I ask the people at NetSarang if they have any plans in the future to port their Xshell application to OS X.

We are happy to hear that you really like Xshell and Xftp.

With growing number of OS X users, we feel that it is necessary to add OS X compatible products in our lineup. Although I can't tell you when this will take place but we are carefully looking into this subject.

While we are awaiting for the native OSX version, the Windows version works pretty well using Wineskin.

Consider use another client, I had suggested Netsarang build osx version a couple years ago... maybe 4 years ago...
I don't believe they will do it.

If Netsarang has no plans to release XShell for MAC, consider using ZOC from Emtec. I have been using ZOC on MAC for a long time now.

Iterm2 is sufficient enough.

More and more system engineer running mac osx desktop. It's really needed xshell on mac osx. I've been waiting for for years, but still nothing. :(

I'd also like to add my vote for xShell on Mac OSX. Have been using (and loving) it for years on Windows. Have recently switched back to mac and was surprised to find the ssh client choices so weak!

We managed to run the Windows Xshell version using a Wineskin bottle, with all features running, but it will be very good if you do a native release.

Have you been able to get Xshell 5 to work with Wineskin ? Xshell4 used to work ok but with Xshell 5 i can't even install it.

I just don't understand you, people at Netsarang. There has been an ongoing interest on this product for a while (this thread is five years old).

So, if the OSX client is not going to happen, tell us already!

And if it is in the works, even maybe further ahead on the roadmap, tell us already!

This is the best tool so far, but looking at this thread which is already couple of years old.. I don't thing Netsarang is planning for Mac anymore.

A chinese new user of mac os, a java web programmer who hava to check logs everyday. When I use xshell in windows, I found it was the best ternimal software, I strongly recomend you development the mac version of xshell.

Agree - Netsarang are missing the boat. I used to use securecrt almost a decade ago - and it's rock solid. I've switched over to iTerm2 for Mac these days. :(
