Does xshell has auto-reconnect like putty/kitty?

I know xshell has this "reconnect" feature but it does not function the way I hope...I am looking for something like putty/kitty to auto-reconnect to device without asking for login when clicked in the session window if disconnected...
I also do have Keep Alive partially configured but not enabled "Send string when network is idle". Should I enable this as work around? If so, what string should be configured to be sent?
Thanks,
Program Ver. : Xshell 6

You can reconnect in Xshell by clicking the reconnect button on the tool bar or by pressing the Ctrl+Shift+R keys.
Sending a string as a keep alive message for sustaining sessions is primitive and non-protocol based, but it is the most effective. This is for old legacy systems that cannot understand the other two keep alive methods.
The string can be anything that the server recognizes as the server being alive. Typically a new line character (\n) is used.
