Opening sessions [1]

Opening sessions by typing in the shell

Tuesday, December 4, 2018 7:56 AM - Peiman

Hi,
I was testing on Xshell 6 and saw there is a feature that makes the user able to open sessions by typing the session name in the shell. Now i'm using Xshell 5 but this feature is not available to use. Is it not available at all or is disabled by default ? if the second one, then how is it possible to enable that ?

Program Ver. : Xshell 5

If you are running a sesions by typing the session file including the extension, this is not a feature of Xshell, but instead a feature of Windows, the extension association.

Xshell's Local Shell can open sessions using the 'open' command followed by the session file name.
