Feature request: notes and/or search on session pane

Thursday, July 4, 2013 3:31 AM - Feature request: notes and/or search on session pane

Hi there,

i have few hundred ssh sessions configured. It would be very useful if one could add a "Notes" column to the session pane. It would help to find one session among others.
The ideal solution would be a Search function on the session pane, for exaple press Ctrl+F then start typing to find highlight/narrow sessions in session list.

Thanks,
Bean

Program Ver. : Xshell 4

Yes I second that very annoying that you can't search all your sessions with just a key combination.

You have to do ALT +O then move mouse to search bar then search. Instead of ending up there to start with when you press ALt +O

You have two options.

1. You can use the Session Manager.
If your Session Manager is open, pressing Alt+M will shift focus to your Session Manager's search bar and you can begin typing immediately to search.

2. Without Session Manager
If you would rather just use the Session Dialog Box (Alt+O), pressing Alt+M after opening the Session Dialog Box will shift focus to the search bar. So you'd press Alt+O then Alt+M.
