About the commercial licence [1]

I'm about to buy a key after leaving school and the terms are quite confused.
is xshell paid per year ? or a single purchase of licence is permanent plus one year maintenance fee?

All of our licenses are perpetual. They do not expire.

Maintenance does expire and can be renewed yearly. Maintenance includes tech support, minor/major upgrades.

All new licenses include 1 year of maintenance at no extra cost.
