Cannot re-install Xshell 5 after removing & changing system disk

Thursday, February 8, 2018 12:58 AM - Zhang

I had an SSD, equipped with Windows 7, as my system disk, when I installed Xshell 5 on my HDD. Now that the SSD went wrong and I removed it and started using the HDD as system disk instead (Windows 10), while files on the HDD remained intact.
Now I need to re-install Xshell 5 on the HDD but it says" An error occurred during the installation of assembly component {0D7E67F6-1A6A-3A26-AF95-B8E83DDCCC3F}. HRESULT:0x80070005" (see Attachment 1, in Chinese). When it rolls back it shows an error code of -1603 (see Attachment 2, in Chinese).
Nothing relevant in Programs and Features.
No uninstaller found in the install path, and simply deleting the folder doesn't help.
Nothing (seems) of help in C:\Program Files (x86)\InstallShield Installation Information, and neither is the registry.
Please help! Thank you in advance.

Program Ver. : Xshell 5

It looks like a manual uninstallation may be necessary. Please see the instructions here: https://www.netsarang.com/knowledgebase/xmanager/3244

Then try reinstalling.
