I want to connect the linux fedora core 5 using xmanager from windows xp pro. But I got this message:
XDMCP Connection failed
Why? What cause to this problem? How to solve it?

First, you need to configure your remote host for XDMCP connection. To do this, follow the instruction:

Then, make sure to allow Xmanager in your PC firewall. Following FAQ explains how: /products/xmg_faq.html#p12
At this point, if you still cannot connect, try following the Step 3 of the following page.
/download/down_xmg2.html
If your problem persists, please send us the following information:
1. Xmanager log file. It is located in the following directory:
C:\Documents and Settings\%USER%\Application Data\NetSarang\Xmanager\2\Log\*.log
2. Describe your network environment including the IP addresses of your PC and Fedora
