I have two problems
1.
I have redhat linux 9 with gnome configured.I was able to connect remote linux and i can view and access everything
problem is, in that linux system already 8 applications are running with the 8 terminal opened
If I take remote only the desktop icons are coming i was not able to see the 8 terminal with the running
application already opened there
2.Working with remote linux if i start any application through terminal while closing the xmanager window the application also gets closing
is there any solution.

If I understood you correctly what you are looking for is a ΒΏPause & ResumeΒΏ feature and this feature is currently not supported in X window system.
In X window system is fundamentally very different from Microsoft Windows Terminal Server. In Microsoft Windows terminal Server, you can pause and resume a single session. UNIX is built for multi-user environment and when a user makes a connection, a brand new session is assigned. This is a default behavior of all X server.
Please let me know if I can be of further assistance.
