Build 0645 Tunneling is not working [7]

Build 0645 Tunneling is not working

Tuesday, June 2, 2015 8:26 AM - xshelllover

After upgrade to the latest version, the original working tunnels are no longer working, I tried to recreate them still failed.
All the dynamic, local, or remote are not working now.

Not sure if it's one man's case or a common case, I put my session not in the default folder, not sure if it's related.

The weird thing is the tunneling panel indicate the tunnel is established success, but I can not using it as proxy.

Program Ver. : Xshell 5

Thank you for reporting this issue. This problem might be related to the device specific forwarding rule settings we added in the latest version. Please send us the rules in the following format for a review:

-----------------
Type:
Source host:
Listening port:
Accept local connection only:

Destination host:
Destination port:
-----------------

-----------------
Type: Dynamic (Socket 4/5)
Source host:
Listening port:
Accept local connection only:

Destination host: a proxy server
Destination port: 22
-----------------

It also looks weird, if you edit one tunnel, the edit form didn't get the latest value in the table,

Looks like if I check the only accept local connection, it will work. This is interesting as I'm using local connection and the xshell didn't report any issue but I can not connect to it if I didn't choose only accept the local connection.

Thank you for reporting this issue. This problem is caused by IPv6 address binding. We are fixing this right now.

Meanwhile, you can use xshelllover's solution. Thank you for sharing a workaround.

Yeah, it looks like related to the IPV6 binding. It seems we still have issue when using the chrome to access this tunnel. Any plan when the new version will be released?
