Copying trailing whitespaces generates newline [4]

Copying trailing whitespaces generates newline

Tuesday, April 7, 2015 12:54 AM - Shuqi SUN

In the most recent versions of Xshell 5, when copying texts from the terminal, the trailing whitespaces copied are translated to a newline.
This is quite inconvinent when we want to copy a command from `history` and edit it before sending it to shell.
So, is there a way to disable this feature?

Program Ver. : Xshell 5

This works the same way as Windows applications or Linux application. If you stop selection at the last character, it won't copy new line. If you select one more character, it paste newline.

OK, I think I've found out how it works. I then have to add trailing spaces in each command to avoid overshooting the selection.

Hello. Is there any way to switch off sush behavior. It is quite inconvenient for some persons. Occasionally you can copy wrong line and paste it with automatic ENTER but it is not what needed. Thank you
