"Encountered a improper argument"

I meet the same problem EVERYDAY.
The reproducing method is as below

1. Set your Terminal Encoding to Unicode (UTF-8)
2. Do "cat /dev/urandom" and press CTRL + C to stop it when random characters are on the screen.
3. Try to move your mouse over random characters.
