Lowercase URLs [1]

Build 0579 appears to be changing URL's passed to the default browser to lowercase.
As an example, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VXa9tXcMhXQ changes to https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vxa9txcmhxq

I have confirmed that this is the case with both Firefox and Chrome.
I'm not sure that this existed in previous versions, at least I haven't noticed the problem until now. Is this a known bug?
