Here are the steps:
1. set StartFolder="C:\Users\user\Downloads" and then restart xshell
2. Open XSHELL and start log for the session to desktop folder or any other folder
3. Run "pwd" and it shows the folder is still "C:\Users\user\Downloads"
4. Run "dir" and it shows the content from desktop folder instead of "C:\Users\user\Downloads"
The command prompt path never changed even the working folder changed.
Program Ver. : latest Xshell 5 on windows 8.1 x64
