Session Folder path will not change

Tuesday, August 9, 2016 7:16 PM - Jake Vinson

Hello,

I am unable to get the sessions folder path to change....and stick.

It seems to revert to the original/reset value whenever the program exits and re-opens.

The folder being created is not in a place I would like it to be (my documents).

Is there a command to manually update this folder? I can close xShell and remove the folder, even with the path changed, the folder re-appears.

Thank you for your time!

Program Ver. : Xshell 5

We'll look into the issue you have described.

To change the root of a user's data path in Xshell, try using the xtransport command with the option '-move' in the Xshell program folder.

Xtransport -move

A window will pop up and you can change the data folder in the dialog window.

That worked.

I ran xtransport.exe with the directory I wanted to use and was successful in updating the directory xshell is using to store data.
