How to "Edit Terminal Contents"

Hi,
The key features include "Edit Terminal Contents With a User Defined Text Editor".
How do I do that? Is it the same as the option "To Notepad" in the right click menu? If so, that is one way- meaning that it is more of a Copy screen contents to notepad.
Thanks,
GK

You can find the feature in the Advanced tab of Xshell Options. I've attached a photo for reference.
