Progress bar not showing correctly [9]

On Ubuntu 14.04+ when running (and packages actually upgradable):

$ sudo apt upgrade


The progress bar is not sticking on the bottom and flickering.

Program Ver. : Xshell 5

Can you add a screenshot of this problem? We cannot seem to duplicate the issue from our lab.

Check to see if the 'Treat CJK ambiguous characters as wide character' option is turned on in your session file.

The option can be found in Terminal -> Translation section of your session file.

For your case, you want to turn this option off.
