Password Rejected [3]

Is there any reason I'm unable to login via XShell when I am able to do so via the browser? Are the protocols different, perhaps?

While I was able to login, I now keep getting an error stating that my password have been rejected.

I'm seeing this same behaviour when using special characters on my password, such as £. Password is rejected and I can't login into remote shell.

Depending on the connection protocol, password authentication may or may not be allowed. Have you tried using a different connection protocol?
