Last disconnected Xshell TAB [1]
Last disconnected Xshell TAB
Thursday, April 9, 2015 5:39 AM - Alex
I found some problem, possibly small bug with local shell TAB:
New TAB can not be created, then focus on local shell TAB, wich used to continuous ping.
Steps to reproduce:
Set option "Revert to local shell when session is terminated" (i don't know is this essensial).
Any count of any state TABs can be opened.
Open new local shell TAB.
Execute continuous ping command: ping 8.8.8.8 -t
Try to open new connection via File-Open menu.
After connection selection nothing happens - no new connection created.
I think, Xshell tries to reuse disconnected TAB for new connection.
But this TAB (local shell) is busy.
Can Xshell be changed to figure out that TAB used (because of output exists) and create new TAB for new connection?
Thanx.
Program Ver. : Xshell 5

Thank you for reporting this issue. I have forwarded this case (# 3104) to our developers and will be fixed in the next few release cycles.
