I am trying to run the command "screen" to open a new session and then detach it using <ctrl + a> d.

Everything works fine, a new session start, I run the job and after pressing <ctrl + a> d I get back to the original session. At this point if I do "screen ls" I cannot see the session and reattach to it.
Is this a problem of Xshell? Do I need to set some property to be able to do this?

Another smaller problem is that every time I change session (either by running screen or doing ctrl a d) the Xshell window is automatically resized to a strange vertical format.

Thanks for the help,

Michele

Program Ver. : Xshell 4

Nevermind, I forgot the - in front of ls in "screen -ls"
everything works fine
