Tunnelling stopped working from version 0088 [9]

Tunneling stopped working from version 0088.

Once upgraded to 0089, the tunneling status no longer turned to "Open", but begun turning into gibberish(something like "¿¿¿¿" in Japanese characters).

I could confirm 0088 working and 0089 not working side by side on 2 different PCs.

After updating both PCs to 0090, both of them have stopped tunneling.

We have found the problem. There was an error displaying the Open/Failed message. These words are in Korean. Fix will be included in the next update which will be released within a week.

Thanks for looking into this.

I was under the impression that the tunneling function ceased to work altogether along with the status display issue.

Is the tunneling function unaffected? I am currently using Putty's tunnel function without any problems, so I am suspecting something wrong on XShell's part(After 0088).

The actual working of tunneling is unaffected by this error. We already fixed the problem and testing it internally for release.

Could you please re-check this problem?

Tunneling really seems to have ceased working since 0088 while perfectly working up to 0087.

1. I was able to confirm 0087 working on one PC, while 0088 not working on another.
2. Once both PCs updated to 0090, both ceased working.
3. Putty tunneling works with no problems, so it can't be a server-side issue.

We have double checked this issue on Windows XP English x86 but could not duplicate the problem. Nonetheless, the update is scheduled for release this Friday. Please let me know if the problem persists.

Language error on the Tunneling bar is fixed in Xshell 4 build 0091. Please update your Xshell copy by selecting Help > Check for updates.

I have confirmed that SSH Tunneling now works in 0091.
Also have confirmed that it still does not work in 0090 on another PC.

This is strange since you have determined that this is only a display issue.

Thank you for the confirmation. It is quite strange. But, it will be difficult to duplicate the problem. We will assist users to upgrade if they have the same problem.
