Terminal window resizing while using GNU screen [1]
Terminal window resizing while using GNU screen
Friday, January 7, 2011 6:57 PM - Mark Winkelman
When using GNU screen within an SSH connection, when resizing the screen manually with the mouse, expanding window, etc, the terminal output begins acting erratically causing the current session to be unusable.
The workaround that I have found so far, is that when using the maximize/un-maximize button on the window bar, it will reset the erratic behavior. Additionally, using the Alt-Enter key sequence will also fix the issue.
I have tried numerous ways both within GNU screen and XShell to correct this problem, such as terminal resets, etc.
Current GNU screen version:
Screen version 4.00.03 (FAU) 23-Oct-06
Program Ver. : Xshell 4 Beta
