Automatic generating of XSH files [3]
Automatic generating of XSH files

I need to write tool for generating XSH files from external data. As i realized XSH is just text file with key-value pairs, so implementation would be quite simple. Except of "Password" key - its value is encoded. So my question. Is any tool for encoding password in required format? Or would you provide algorithm of encoding so i can implement it myself?
Program Ver. : Xshell 3.0

Password can be only accessed and decoded by Xshell for now. Allowing external applications to handle password can open a whole new can of worms. Until there is a safe and secure solution, we cannot afford to include such feature.
Do you have any suggestions?

But what about command line tool, that allow to set password in existing XSH file? I've seen there is the tool for bulk updating a lot of XSHs, but seems it does not support command line interface.
Another way - provide command line option for Xshell.exe for encoding password to the necessary format. Or completely unsecure option: add ability to store plain passwords in XSH :-).
