This is a security feature. Password is encrypted with special key that is different for each PC. To share the same sessions, you will have to export sessions and import them from a new PC.

Hej,

I understand that this is a security feature, but its 2017 and the cloud is everywhere. I too sync my xshell/xftp "Session" folder just to be asked for my authentication credentials again and again when the folders are synced forth and back - very annoying.

It would be great if you could give us an option to share the encryption key between machines (kind of a "global" encryption key).

Greetings,
Bjoern

The Master Password feature should be able to solve your issues. You can set the Master Password by going to Tools -> Options -> Security.

However, Master Password is only available in Xshell currently. It will be added to our other programs in the next major version.
