font size and missing symbols [1]

Greetings.
I've found that the following issue persists over the new Fedora 15 installations, if I create a directory with a _ symbol in it and decrease the font size to Courier New 9 it will not show. It all works fine when setting the font size to 10 or even 8.

I've tried testing on another machine as well as multiple installations of different Operating Systems, and only latest Fedora installs have this issue. Interestingly Fedora 10 installs don't have it.
