hi, I am facing this problem since from 15 days, but I am not able to find a solution for this, the problem is like this ;-> We have two IP networks Netwrok A and Network B connected through a firewall server . All my Unix Servers are sitting in Network A. Clients are logging from Netowrk B to Netowrk A via firewall. Even thoe In the firewall all the ports are open from Network B to Netowrk A we are not able to login through the Xmanager. Please let me know the solution for the above problem at the earliest, as none of the users are able use the Xmanager.

Xmanager is an X server program.
Even though all ports from Network B to Network A are opened, X applications (X clinets such as xterm) can't connect to Xmanager (which is in Network B) through firewall.
To get Xmanager worked, TCP/6000 port from Network A to Network B should be opened. (You will need to modify firewall setting, slightly...)
hope it can help you!
Nathaniel.
