Possibility to save a session as Local Shell? [3]

Possibility to save a session as Local Shell?

Thursday, March 3, 2016 3:43 PM - Geert De Paep

I would like to replace my "Console" (https://sourceforge.net/projects/console/) by XShell. Console is an improved DOS windows manager, but XShell can do the same via Local Shell's.
However in that case I would like to have the option to save one or more sessions of type "Local Shell". At the moment, when creating a saved session, you must enter a protocol (ssh, telnet, rlogin, ...), but "Local session" (i.e. no protocol) is not an option.

It would be handy being able to save multiple Local Shell sessions, where each of them can start have a specific color and/or execute specific (DOS) commands on start (login scripts), e.g. so each can start in a specific directory (using a CD command in the login script).

Would there be any possibility to implement this?
Thanks,
Geert

Program Ver. : Xshell 5

Thanks for your patience. This feature has been added to Xshell 6 which we hope to release soon.
