PKCS#11 support in Xshell/Xagent [14]
PKCS#11 support in Xshell/Xagent

Hi,
Currently there is public-key support in Xshell/Xagent.
I was wondering if PKCS#11 support was planned for a future releases. Such support would allow user keys to be stored securely on a smartcard.
This functionnality can be found in some competiting products, so I was wondering about your plans on crypto tokens integration.
Best regards
Program Ver. : Xshell 3.0

I would also like PKCS11 support. This is critical for my use of SSH clients.
Thanks!
Thanks!

+1 for smartcard support.
I use a Yubikey to store my keys, with a subkey used for SSH. Historically I've used gpg-agent and PuTTY for this.

Support also wanted!
This software is great, but without that basic feature it is unusable to us...

We need this feature also. Without PKCS11 support, there are a large number of scenarios in which we can not use XShell/Xagent.

Hi
Xshell 6 Beta is out and - as You promissed - there is support for PKCS#11
Could You tell us how to use it ?
In authentication method, when I choose PKCS11 in Setup we have Middleware Path and Token PIN.
Short tutorial could be useful.

I tested feitian epass token with Xshell6 beta.
1. Download opensc(32bit) in github( https://github.com/OpenSC/OpenSC/releases )
2. Install
3. Check the middleware("opensc-pkcs11.dll" ) is installed.
(C:\Windows\System32\opensc-pkcs11.dll)
4. Open Xshell and create new session with your token info.
If you need to setup key, follow this instruction.
